• Porter

Porter was a full-home makeover focused on transforming the main living level of a two-year-old, open-concept new build. Our goal was to create a cohesive design aesthetic that balanced the mother’s feminine preferences with the needs of a busy, male-dominated household. Across six rooms, we refreshed every detail—from paint, wallpaper, and lighting to all-new furniture, décor, and accessories—resulting in a thoughtfully layered and harmonious living environment.

    High

This long time client initially engaged Taylored Designs for a full makeover for much of their first floor. And more recently, we gut renovated their primary bathroom. By blending timeless elements with contemporary details, the makeover delivers a home that feels renewed, harmonious, and uniquely personalized.

    Clubhouse

Clubhouse was a full makeover project that started with a new construction three-season porch addition and extended through the open-concept dining/kitchen/family room, the front entryway and mudroom, to make much of this coastal homes’ first floor feel updated and cohesive.

    Maple

This family approached Taylored Designs pretty far into their new build project, with a few months to move-in. They needed help with all the furnishings across their downstairs open floor plan and master bedroom. Taylored Designs helped establish their style, and made their forever home a space that they can enjoy for so many years to come.

    Crane Neck

Crane Neck was a full makeover project that started with the downstairs level. Upon moving into this home, the owners renovated, opened up walls, painted everything, updated the kitchen and bathrooms and were left with furniture that didn’t fit into this Georgian Federal-style house. Together, we determined their style (a mix of coastal, mid-century modern and modern farmhouse), inventoried what furniture and pieces of art could stay and be repurposed, and furnished the space to make the house their home.

    Turkey Hill

Turkey Hill was another full makeover project. It stemmed from a gut kitchen renovation to maximize the space and layout for a busy, growing family and visually brought the home out of the 90’s. A true labor of love, this project helped realize a vision that was years in the making.

    Old Point

When this family bought this second (beach) home (in the heart of the pandemic mind you), it was a fixer-upper. But it had good bones and an even greater view of the marshes between Plum Island and Newburyport. Together, with a general contractor, we overhauled the entire place inside and out.

  • howard-primary

    Howard

Howard was gut renovated by a builder prior to the current owners buying it, so while it had updated features, the bare minimum as done. This project aimed to enhance the space, and find a balance of modernizing the clients traditional style and adding pops of color to an otherwise neutral palette.
